It is a long lasting surface that, if correctly maintained, can last 20-25 years. At Pinnacle Paving, Inc. we can do your asphalt paving project start to finish. Depending on what your project needs, we can either completely replace it or resurface the top layer. Once the project is completed, it is crucial to adhere to proper asphalt maintenance to ensure the longest life possible.
Asphalt Reconstruction
Crackseal is important because it can keep water, sand, weeds, etc. out of the cracks of your pavement. This can be done before Sealcoat to ensure that your asphalt lasts as long as possible. Sealcoat, sometimes called pavement sealer, is applied to asphalt-based pavements. This process helps to protect, maintain integrity, and extend the life of your asphalt. If properly taken care of, sealcoating can protect your asphalt from elements like water, oil, or sun damage. The product is applied by pressurized spray equipment or by hand. Once two coats are applied, it takes 24-48 hours for it to cure. This process should be repeated every few years. Contact us if you have questions on whether or not you think it’s time to re-seal.
